Terms and Conditions for Canada Pooch Customer Survey and Sweepstakes

INTRODUCTION: By participating in the Canada Pooch Customer Survey, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before participating in the survey and giveaway. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in the survey.

DATE OF SWEEPSTAKES: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01am Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on Wednesday August 28th, 2024, and end at 11:59:59pm EST Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries received after this period will not be eligible for the giveaway.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the applicable age of majority, if greater than eighteen (18) years of age in their respective jurisdictions) and that can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law. The Sweepstakes is expressly void in Quebec and where otherwise prohibited by law. The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and/or win a Prize: (a) employees, officers, and directors of Canada Pooch, including its, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, advertisers, marketing and promotion agencies, manufacturers or distributors of promotion materials, and representatives; and (b) members of the immediate family (parents, children, siblings, or spouses) of a person listed in (a) and/or those living in the same household as a person listed in (a), regardless of familial relation. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Canada Pooch, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

How to Enter: To enter the sweepstakes, the Entrant must complete the Canada Pooch Customer Survey. The Entrant must complete the survey in its entirety by submitting all answers to the survey questions, providing a valid email address, and clicking “Submit Survey” to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. The survey must be completed within one (1) week from the Invitation date and by 11:59:59pm EST on Wednesday September 4th, 2024.

Survey and Sweepstakes Period: The survey and sweepstakes period will commence on at 12:00:01am Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on Wednesday August 28th, 2024, and end at 11:59:59pm EST Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries received after this period will not be eligible for the giveaway.

Selection of Winners: One (1) random draw will be conducted, wherein the winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the survey period. The draw will
take place within 7 business days of the termination of the Sweepstakes Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Prizes: One (1) prize will be awarded, consisting of a Canada Pooch gift card, to be used on the Canada Pooch website, in the amount of $200 CAD (Canadian Dollars). The gift certificate is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize must be accepted as awarded, and no substitutions will be provided.
Notification of Winners: The winner will be notified via the email address provided in the survey within 7 business days of the termination of the Sweepstakes Period. If a winner does not respond to the notification within 7 business days or is found to be ineligible, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected at random.

Privacy: By participating in the survey, you consent to Canada Pooch collecting and using your personal information for the purpose of administering the survey and giveaway in accordance with our privacy policy. Your personal information will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary to administer the giveaway.
Right to Modify or Terminate: Canada Pooch reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the survey and giveaway at any time and for any reason without prior notice. In the event of termination, Canada Pooch may, at its discretion, conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received up to the time of termination.

Limitation of Liability: By participating in the survey and giveaway, you agree to release and hold harmless Canada Pooch, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the survey or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms, or the survey and giveaway will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
